On May 16, the "Tongji University–Yancheng Day" series of events kicked off at Tongji University’s Siping Campus with the theme "Encounter Yancheng, Forge Ahead Together". As one of the organizers, the Yancheng Wetland and Natural World Heritage Conservation and Management Center  presented the "Eco-Yancheng: Yellow Sea Wetlands" Exhibition.

Titled "Step into the Yellow Sea Wetlands", the exhibition features three sections: An International Wetland City Where Humans and Nature Thrive in Harmony, A Historic World Heritage Bid, and A Distinctive World Natural Heritage. Combining specimen displays and interactive science education, it vividly showcases the outstanding universal value and unique global significance of the Yancheng Yellow Sea Wetlands—the world’s first World Natural Heritage site dedicated to migratory bird conservation. The exhibition aims to foster ecological civilization awareness among young students.

Lifelike specimens of wetland wildlife vividly demonstrate Yancheng’s rich biodiversity as a "Paradise for Migratory Birds".

Acting as nature educators, staff distributed promotional materials and patiently answered students’ questions. This allowed students to learn about the Yancheng Yellow Sea Wetlands, experience the vitality of wetland wildlife up close, and appreciate Yancheng’s ecological beauty as a "Bird Airport".
