The Symposium on Coastal Ecological Geomorphology System Protection and Public Knowledge Products was held in Yancheng on May 23–24, 2026. Co-hosted by Hohai University and the Yancheng Wetland and Natural World Heritage Conservation Management Center, the event brought together approximately 30 Chinese experts and leading international scholars, including Professor Ian Townend, Fellow of the UK Royal Academy, and Professor Karin Bryan, Fellow of the New Zealand Royal Society.
Discussions focused on coastal geomorphological evolution and global coastal ecological protection, providing valuable insights for the preparation of the 2027 World Coastal Forum and the development of public knowledge products.
